Solving Approach

About Isaiah

Isaiah was a Hebrew prophet who lived in Jerusalem during the eighth century BCE, active during the reigns of several Judean kings including Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah. The book bearing his name is one of the longest in the Hebrew Bible and contains poetry, prophecy, and prose addressing political crises of his era, including the Assyrian threat to Judah. Scholars widely regard Isaiah as among the most literarily sophisticated voices in ancient Near Eastern writing, and his texts have been extensively quoted and referenced throughout subsequent Jewish and Christian traditions.
